There has always been a demand for fascinating antique coins of India that were issued during the colonial period. Back in the 17th century, the East India Company divided their Indian territories into three presidencies namely, Bengal Presidency, Bombay Presidency and Madras Presidency. Apart from British East India Company, several other European trading companies such as French East India Company, Dutch East India Company, Danish East India Company and Portugal issued different types of colonial coins in India.
